Timothy R. Graham

Timothy R. Graham became a Director of FGIC in August 2013.  Mr. Graham has extensive transactional, management and compliance experience in restructuring, reorganization, corporate and private equity capital.  Mr. Graham has held various positions including being a partner in a law firm, a principal in an investment fund, chief legal officer and\or executive officer in various business environments and industries including growth, distress and bankruptcy with particular emphasis on crisis management, compliance, resolutions and/or emergence of distressed, regulated entities.  Since October 1, 2013, he has served as a director and in various officer positions of The PMI Group, Inc., including as Chairman and CEO from April 2015 until September 2016.  He also was a director of WMIH Corp. (formerly Washington Mutual) from March 2013 to May 2015.  Prior to that he served as Restructuring Advisor at Brookwall, LLC from 2010-2013 where he advised a number of third parties with respect to financial entity restructurings, and at Triad Guaranty Insurance Corporation, a distressed monoline insurer, from August 2008 to June 2010.  From 2005-2008, Mr. Graham was President and Chief Legal/Restructuring Officer at LaSalle Re Limited, a Bermuda domiciled international casualty and catastrophe reinsurer, and from February 2003 to August 2005 he served as Chief Restructuring Counsel\CRO for the Trenwick Group Ltd., a multinational insurance\reinsurance group.  Mr. Graham holds a BS in Foreign Service from the Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service and a JD from the Fordham University School of Law.
