Derek Donnelly joined FGIC in March 2006 and is a member of FGIC’s Board of Directors.  Mr. Donnelly also serves as a Director of FGIC Corporation.  He is currently Senior Managing Director and head of the Portfolio Risk Management Group responsible for loss mitigation, claims management, loss reserving and surveillance of FGIC's insured portfolio.  Prior to this role he was part of the Commercial Asset-Backed Group.  Prior to joining FGIC, Mr. Donnelly spent three years as part of the Capital Markets group at GE Capital focused on new product development for both the consumer and commercial finance businesses.  Previous to GE Capital, Mr. Donnelly spent 10 years with JP Morgan where he was responsible for executing a variety of structured finance transactions in the transportation and leasing industry.  He has a B.A. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
