A. Edward Turi, III serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC) and as a member of FGIC’s Board of Directors.  Mr. Turi also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of FGIC Corporation.  He joined FGIC in July 1991 and has led FGIC’s Legal Operation since January 1992, in addition to performing various other leadership responsibilities over the years.  Mr. Turi was an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore from August 1984 until he joined FGIC, and he began his professional career at Deloitte after passing the CPA exam.  He earned a BS in Accounting from Georgetown University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
